Halbert Farm

Your Gateway to Kunekune Charm and Farmyard Delights

Craving a taste of rural escape without leaving Texas? Nestled in Burleson, Halbert Farm isn't just any homestead – it's a haven for miniature marvels and farmyard fun. We were one of the first Kunekune pig breeders in the state, specializing in these adorable, docile grazing pigs straight from New Zealand. Think Disney piglets come to life!

Forget behemoths, we breed Kunekunes for charm, not chops. Our piglets stay around 200 pounds, perfect for hobby farmers, pet parents, and discerning breeders seeking manageable magic. Don't just take our word for it – come witness their irresistible snorts and playful antics firsthand!

But Halbert Farm is more than just pig pals. We're a menagerie of miniature delights! Meet our pint-sized zebus cows, strut with our Salmon Faverolle, Bielefelder, and Egyptian Fayoumis chickens, or gather golden farm-fresh eggs straight from the coop. Feeling adventurous? Dive into our Airbnb Animal Experiences, where you can muck with the munchkins and learn the secrets of farm life.

Need free fertilizer? We've got you covered (literally)! Our happy herd produces the best nutrient-rich manure around, yours for the taking. And if you're hatching entrepreneurial dreams, let us help! We offer professional egg incubation services, turning your pecking possibilities into feathered realities.

At Halbert Farm, we live, breathe, and snort (ok, maybe not that last one) for the joy of the farmyard. We're passionate about sharing our love with you, so join the Halbert Herd! Book your Airbnb experience, grab some eggs, or simply wave to the piggies – we can't wait to welcome you.

Interested in meeting our Kunekune Pigs? We now offer Airbnb Animal Experiences 6 days a week. This is a 1.5 hour farm tour for 18+ to learn about the breed and you get to interact with them. All our pigs know how to sit and you'll feed them treats, give them belly rubs, and see how special they are. We also offer a 10 year and up tour that is 1 hour called Meet the Kunekune Pigs. Please book through airbnb
